Discover your nature and paradise on earth in Yyteri, which is much more than sun, sand and mid-summer water sports might suggest. Yyteri is Finland's first Blue Flag certified destination in the beach category. Yyteri is also home to Natura 2000 protected dunes, and its unique nature and excellent services offer nature adventures all year round. The Bothnian Sea National Park is just around the corner, and kilometres of hiking trails take you around the nature lover's paradise.
Take a guided walk of around 5 kilometres, breathe in the fresh sea air, zoom in for potentially exciting sightings with your binoculars and explore the demanding growing conditions that the coastal vegetation is remarkably resilient to. Feel the magic of the Yyteri and learn to love the lyme grass that sets Yyteri apart from all others. The excursion is suitable for people of basic fitness. After the tour you can refresh yourself with a dip, so if you wish, pack your swimming gear too.
