Raatihuoneenpuisto park, located in the historic centre of Pori, has transformed from a former marketplace into a vibrant meeting point for the locals. The annual May Day celebrations and other events are only one part of the park’s lively tale. In addition to the beautiful plantings and admirable statues, the environment emanates rich history and boasts various architectural gems. These stars include the Italian-inspired town hall of Pori, the old town hall designed by Carl Ludvig Engel and the traditional Pori Theatre. Over the course of an hour you will experience the park, and hear the stories of the surrounding iconic buildings and their interesting owners.
