Join us aboard a traditional fishing boat for a visit to Säppi lighthouse island!
Tommi Salokangas organises day trips to Säppi, an island that has played a significant role in the maritime history of the Bothnian Sea. The nature of Säppi is diverse, and it is part of Bothnian Sea National Park. Thus, the island attracts both nature lovers and lighthouse enthusiasts. In fact, the lighthouse is one of the finest in Finland and it was renovated for its current glory in summer 2021. The trip includes the possibility to visit the lighthouse.
Boat trips to Säppi are available on Wednesdays and Sundays + on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the weeks 26 and 29
Tours are day trips at 2pm–6pm.
On Sundays: 2.7, 9.7, 16.7, 23.7, 30.7, 6.8, 13.8, 20.8 and 27.8.
On Tuesdays: 27.6 and 11.7
On Wednesdays: 28.6, 5.7, 12.7, 19.7, 26.7. and 2.8.
On Thursdays: 29.6 and 13.7
Price: 45 €/adults, 22 €/children under 12 years
Group size: min. 1 and max. 11 persons
Duration: approx. 4 hours
Departure: Kuuminainen cape, Salokankaantie 54 (approx. 20 km from the centre of Pori)

Boat trip on a fishing boat (open boat): approx. 30 minutes / one way
Weather reservation: Wind limit 12 m/s.
Clothing: Wear clothing appropriate for the weather and footwear suitable for cross-country walking.
Please note, that there is a risk of getting wet during the boat ride (open boat) and it can be much colder at sea than on the mainland!
