Join us aboard a traditional fishing boat for a visit to Säppi lighthouse island!
T:mi Tommi Salokangas organises private day trips to Säppi, an island that has played a significant role in the maritime history of the Bothnian Sea. The nature of Säppi is diverse, and it is part of Bothnian Sea National Park. Thus, the island attracts both nature lovers and lighthouse enthusiasts. In fact, the lighthouse is one of the finest in Finland and it was renovated for its current glory in summer 2021.
Private boat trips to Säppi are available from early August to early September.
If you wish to visit the lighthouse itself, kindly check the opening hours before making the booking: the lighthouse is open daily 10 am-12 noon & 2 pm-5pm until 14.8.2022. The same schedule applies to the last two weekends in August (Saturday and Sunday). Weather reservation applies for all opening hours.

Boat trip on a fishing boat (open boat): approx. 30 minutes / one way
Weather reservation: Wind limit 12 m/s.
Clothing: Wear clothing appropriate for the weather and footwear suitable for cross-country walking.
Please note, that there is a risk of getting wet during the boat ride (open boat) and it can be much colder at sea than on the mainland!
